Camp Happy Surf Camp is a 5-day immersive English-language summer program on Korea’s stunning west coast at Manlipo Beach, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. The Camp combines expert surf instruction with inquiry-based science, outdoor education, and literacy activities. Designed for international students ages 9 to 17, the program develops confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Through hands-on experiences in nature, students grow in both skill and self-awareness—while having unforgettable fun.
MLP Surf with their certified instructors will conduct the surf lessons and provide all necessary equipment including wetsuits, and surfboards. Located in front of the beach, the convenience, and the expertise of MLP Surf are unmatched in the area. The instructor to camper ratio is 1 to 6. (https://cafe.naver.com/mlpsurfing)

*Campers will have 3 days of surf school
*All surf equipment is provided
*Surf lessons are 1.5hrs each
*Free surf after the lesson for 3hrs with lifeguards
Camp Happy Programs are taught by native English-speaking camp counselors with years of teaching experience. The counselor to camper ratio is 1 to 6.

Accommodations are provided by Hanyang Women’s University Manlipo Youth Center
*Shared rooms – 4 campers/room
*Traditional Korean style ondol rooms
Meals are at the cafeteria provided by the accommodation.
12 meals for 5 days:
Day 1: lunch + dinner
Day 2: breakfast + lunch + dinner
Day 3: breakfast + lunch + dinner
Day 4: breakfast + lunch + dinner
Day 5: breakfast
Breakfast is a western meal, and either lunch or dinner will be western-style. An additional Korean-style BBQ party will be on the last evening of the camp.
Daily Schedule
Wake up -> Yoga and Journaling -> Breakfast
-> Surf -> Lunch -> Surf -> Camp Happy Program1
-> Dinner -> Camp Happy Program2 -> Bedtime
Cost per camper = ₩1,598,000
Cost includes:
– 3 days of surf instruction (1.5hr lesson/day)
– 3 days of supervised free surfing (3hrs/day)
– 5 days of Camp Happy programming
